The Power of Yet | Building Resilience and a Growth Mindset

Schools | Training Workshops for Teachers & Staff

Workshop Description

As educators, how we engage with our students often mirrors how we engage with ourselves. Our past experiences and the lenses through which we view the world shape us. How many times have you held back or played small due to fear, vulnerability, or setbacks? It’s time to break free from these self-imposed limits and embrace the power of a growth mindset.

The Power of Yet is all about shifting perspective – understanding that setbacks don’t define us, and growth is always within reach. This workshop isn’t just theory; it equips you with practical tools to transform your mindset, enhance your emotional resilience, and persevere through challenges. By applying models like TFA (Thoughts, Feelings, Actions) and Optimism Bridges, we’ll focus on turning negative self-talk into positive action, opening new pathways to success.

At the heart of this workshop is the Power of Yet: where you are today is not where you have to stay tomorrow. By embracing a growth mindset, you’ll ignite a ripple effect that empowers not only you, but also your students. Together, we’ll move beyond limitations to create opportunities for growth, resilience, and emotional well-being in and out of the classroom.

You’ll explore key EQ competencies such as Enhancing Emotional Literacy, Navigating Emotions, Increasing Self-Empathy, Recognizing Patterns, and Exercising Optimism. These tools will help you reframe challenges, shift emotional responses, and build resilience to tackle anything that comes your way.

Outcomes
